She is an actress and director, known for Mission London (2010), Andrea: Vitamin (2017) and Andrea: Love Is Mine (2016).- Ryan Pethrow is a Bulgarian artist, born on January 20, 1982, in Sofia, Bulgaria. Hailing from a family with a strong academic background, he is the grandson of the renowned Bulgarian hematologist, Professor Zdravko Georgiev. Growing up, Ryan's mother, Isabella Georgieva, worked as a translator, while his father left the family when he was a young child, resulting in minimal contact with him. Ryan has a younger brother and an older sister, although he hasn't had the opportunity to know his sister. Moreover, he is aware of having additional siblings on his father's side in France, although he hasn't established a connection with them either.
During the communist regime in 1986, Ryan's father emigrated to France, and when the regime fell, his mother was invited to Belgium to work as a translator. Thus, in 1990, Ryan's family relocated to Brussels, Belgium. It was during this period that Ryan developed a deep passion for video games, manga, and anime. He also cultivated his interest in sports, participating in a diverse range of activities such as basketball, baseball, football, badminton, table tennis, archery, crossbow shooting, indoor climbing, and more. Additionally, he discovered his talent for acting, taking part in school theater productions and portraying a wide array of characters, including serial killers, action heroes, princes, and eccentric individuals, among others.
Following his time in Belgium, Ryan returned to Bulgaria with his family. Although he had a strong affinity for acting, circumstances prevented him from pursuing it for an extended period upon his return. In the summer of 2003, an unfortunate bicycle accident resulted in a broken arm, forcing him to halt his sports activities, which he had been engaged in semi-professionally for several years.
In 2004, his life took a new turn with the birth of his son, who required significant care and became the center of Ryan's world. The responsibility of fatherhood became his primary focus. Tragedy struck again in 2015 when his grandmother, Lilya Georgieva, passed away suddenly. Sadly, only months later, in 2016, his mother also left this world unexpectedly, leaving a profound impact on Ryan's life.
Determined to reignite his passion for acting, Ryan enrolled in a stunt course taught by renowned instructor Adam Horton at the prestigious Nu Boyana Stunt Academy in 2019. The academy, located within Europe's largest film studio, Nu Boyana Film Studios, has served as the backdrop for numerous iconic action films like The Expendables, Olympus Has Fallen, and Hitman's Bodyguard. Following the successful completion of the course, Ryan continued honing his skills at Nu Boyana Stunt Academy, exploring the world of stunts while simultaneously reigniting his acting career. He made appearances in various commercials, film productions, and short films, showcasing his versatility not only as an actor but also as a photo model. Unfortunately, the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic forced him to temporarily pause his stunt training and put a halt to many of his projects.
Nonetheless, he adapted to the changing circumstances and discovered a new platform for self-expression through social media. With his direct and unapologetic approach, Ryan quickly garnered popularity on various social networks, captivating audiences with his genuine and refreshing perspectives. He seamlessly incorporated his acting skills into sketches, further captivating his growing fan base.
In 2021, Ryan Pethrow delved into the realm of storytelling, crafting a chilling horror tale titled "The Swing." Driven by his passion for the narrative, he transformed the story into a compelling script for a short film. With an eye towards the future, Ryan aspires to take on the role of director, bringing his spine-tingling vision to life on the screen. Stay tuned for this upcoming project as he weaves together his talents in writing and filmmaking to create an unforgettable cinematic experience.
During the summer of 2022, Ryan participated in 12 episodes of the Bulgarian television production "Sofia at Home," assuming an episodic role, demonstrating his versatility as an actor across various platforms.
Ryan Pethrow's artistic journey is a testament to his resilience and multifaceted talent, and he continues to captivate audiences with his unique blend of creativity and authenticity. With his unwavering passion for the arts and a penchant for leaving a lasting impact, Ryan is a rising force in the entertainment industry. - Actor
